Barbara's particularly well-versed in documentaries about the natural world, having produced nationally broadcast PBS documentaries about the preservation of wild tigers in India, the preservation of wild cranes in China, and the development of safe water resources in some of the planet’s most isolated communities. Jesse has extensive experience in large sensor HD shooting, 4K shooting, aerial shooting, knowledge of chip settings, lenses/vintage lenses, and dramatic/scenic lighting skills. Jesse’s work can be seen at various museums, visitor centers, and institutions both near and far. Recently, he shot Northern Light’s feature documentary, Birth of A Movement: The Battle Against America’s First Blockbuster, which aired on PBS. He also filmed various media elements for the First Division Museum, including a complex virtual reality program. In addition to being a Cinematographer, Jesse is a talented graphic artist. In 2008, Tim completed work on Johnny Cash at Folsom Prison, an account of the country music legend’s seminal concert, which aired on PBS and screened at over 40 international festivals. Tim edited and co-produced the PBS production, Give Me the Banjo, an historical investigation of the instrument narrated by Steve Martin. Recently, Tim Co-Directed and Edited The Gospel According to Charlie and Nighthawks on the Blue Highway. His work in the non-fiction museum side includes acclaimed interpretive media for the Mob Museum, the Tennessee History Museum and the Mississippi History Museum. Zoe began her work at Northern Light as an intern, while completing her BA in Media Arts/Media Screen Studies at Northeastern University. She has experience in corporate communications, community media, and youth arts programming. As a researcher, writer, camera operator, and editor, Zoe has a unique understanding of the connectivity between subject and process. She considers listening in on other people's stories an immense privilege and is especially invested in understanding and unearthing media biases.
