The exhibit One City, Many Cultures introduces visitors to a vibrant, multi-cultural Lowell, MA. The city has long been a gateway city for new immigrants and refugees.

Community is an important theme of the exhibit. A staged interactive table lets visitors listen in to conversations between families and friends as they share traditional meals. Other interactive stations feature short videos of community members answering questions about their experiences finding community, expressing their culture, and adjusting to a new home. Visitors can also participate, recording answers to the same questions in a story booth, which the Park can insert into the interactive stations.
